Buck Hammock
Born in Knoxville, Tennessee just outside Nashville, I grew up playing a variety of music from Country to Soul.
After moving to Washington State in 1969, I became one of the members in a rock band called “The Everyday People”. Eventually my roots brought me back into the country scene playing lead guitar for several groups, the longest running being “The Sundowners”; after 4 four years of Navy service on the flight deck of a carrier including a year in Viet Nam.
After playing several years for other well known groups such as RimShot (1993 – 1998) and Latigo Lace (1998 - 2003); I co-founded the Joe Slick Band.
My hobbies include trail riding on my Quarter Hourse “Sandy” on the many trails in Washington, some of my favorite being the 13,000-acre Pillchuck Tree Farm right at my Backdoor.
My wife Sarah and I live in Stanwood, Washington on a 5 acre, what I call “The Ranch”, with our three horses, golden retriever and cat Amos.
